Islamic Online University seeks to bring authentic Islamic knowledge to everyone in the Ummah.
How does IOU facilitate this?
ALL of the tests and examinations are taken online.
Unlike other educational institutions where all examinations must be taken at physical campuses, all of IOU's tests and examinations are online.
However in order to maintain the educational credibility of IOU's examination procedures, final exams must be taken in an IOU approved examination center, where each student's identity is verified.
This ensures that students have an official and reliable place to take their final examinations with a proctor.
There are over 500 designated IOU examination centers located around the globe.
Next semester is starting in 1st of March.

Who needs a campus?
At the Islamic Online University, each student becomes part of a global student community through frequent class forums and LIVE SESSIONS.
Each class has an interactive student forum, supervised by the course tutorial assistant (TA's), in which students discuss and share their Islamic thoughts and knowledge.
Students also have the opportunity to interact weekly with their course TA's.
IOU live sessions further provide a vibrant academic environment for regular contact with those delivering the course as well as with classmates in a virtual classroom atmosphere.

All of Islamic Online University's courses are taught in English with the exception of advanced levels of Arabic, in BAIS degree program.
Arabic is taught from the beginners level . By the end of the program a student will Insha Allaah, be able to read, write and understand Arabic completely.The medium of instruction at IOU is English for all the courses. But Arabic is given importance and students are taught the language of the QUr'an in a very easy and effective way.
Next semester is starting in March 2013, in sha Allaah
