LAURENHILL ACADEMY 2025–2026: YEAR IN REVIEW
Note from the Social Media Coordinator 📝
As another school year comes to a close, I once again have the privilege of looking back at the moments that made this year at LHA unforgettable. Being the social media coordinator means having a front-row seat to everything that happens at LaurenHill Academy, and what a year it has been.
Our LHA Lynx competed on 31 teams, playing 152 regular-season games and bringing home not one, not two, BUT THREE GMAA championship banners. From the first whistle to the Sports Banquet where we celebrated our athletes, our Lynx represented LaurenHill with pride, determination, and heart.
The arts continued to shine through our Dance Show, Music Show, and our drama production of The Princess Bride, showcasing the incredible creativity and talent within our school.
Our community came together in so many ways. We celebrated our diversity through Multicultural Day, decorated our campuses for the holidays, participated in the AHEPA Hellenic History Tournament, HCGM parade, and gave back through Scare Hunger, and gathered together to cheer on the Olympic Games.
Students also explored new experiences through our many extracurricular activities, including Battle of the Books, CRC Robotics, Engineering Club, Talent Show, Grad Committee, Super Smash club, scuba diving, Activity Day, student council activities, and SO MUCH more (there is literally so much, that if I keep typing, it won't let me post this).
Our adventures continued beyond the classroom with trips all around the globe to Italy, Toronto, New York, and the ski slopes, creating memories and friendships that will last a lifetime.
The success of LaurenHill Academy would not be possible without the many pieces that make up our LHA community. Every person who walks through our doors contributes to the spirit, values, and culture that define who we are. Together, we continue to create a place where students are supported, inspired, and proud to call LaurenHill home.
Thank you to everyone who made 2025–2026 another unforgettable year, and congratulations to all of our students on an incredible school year.

🏫 2026-2027 ACADEMIC CALENDAR 🏫 Please note the academic calendar for the next school year (2026-2027). The first day at school for all students (new & returning) will be on Tuesday, September 1. Students will receive their schedules on this day. All parents/guardians will receive an email in mid-August with more information on the return to school!
LaurenHill Academy had the privilege of hearing from Joe Ortona, Chair of the EMSB, at our graduation ceremony, as he addressed the LHA community, our graduating class, and the wider EMSB community. He shared meaningful words of encouragement and reflection with our grads as they prepare for their next chapter, while also recognizing the strength and spirit of the LaurenHill Academy community. On behalf of the entire LHA community, we would like to congratulate LaurenHill Academy Class of 2026 graduate Sofia Kokozos on her commitment to St. Paul’s School in Concord, New Hampshire! ⚽
A true LaurenHill athlete, Sofia proudly represented the LHA Lynx on our Soccer and Futsal teams while also competing at the club level with Pierrefonds. A commanding center back, she is known for her composure on the ball, physical style of play, and ability to build the attack from the back. Her outstanding performances earned her the opportunity to continue both her academic and soccer career at one of the world's most prestigious boarding schools.
We are incredibly proud of you, Sofia, and can't wait to see all you accomplish!
