Aspire to Inspire Bursary 2026 Applications Now Open!

The pathway to healthcare is demanding, and for many students, financial barriers make it even harder.

The Aspire to Inspire Bursary exists to reduce those barriers and support passionate students who deserve the opportunity to pursue healthcare without being held back by financial strain.

This award is about recognizing resilience and investing in future healthcare professionals.

With no GPA requirement, we are committed to recognizing passion, commitment, and your story over grades.

Who is eligible?
McGill undergraduate students interested in healthcare who demonstrate genuine dedication to the field.

Medical Professions Mixer Recap!

Our Medical Professions Mixer brought together undergraduate students and healthcare professionals for an evening of open conversation, mentorship, and connection. The turnout and energy in the room truly exceeded expectations!

We were so encouraged to see such strong engagement from students, thoughtful questions throughout the talks, and genuine curiosity during the networking portion. We hope everyone who attended walked away having learned something new and made meaningful, insightful connections - whether with one of our speakers, your fellow peers, or members of the Medical Direction executive team.

This event would not have been possible without the incredible efforts of our Medical Direction exec team. From weeks of planning to thoughtful attention to every detail during the event, their collaboration and dedication helped create a welcoming and impactful space for conversation and learning.

A huge thank you as well to our speakers for joining us and for sharing such candid and unique perspectives on careers in healthcare. Hearing about diverse training paths, evolving interests, and real experiences across clinical medicine, research, industry, and innovation sparked important conversations and left a lasting impression on our students.

Thank you to everyone who attended and contributed to making this evening such a success. Creating accessible opportunities for mentorship, exposure, and dialogue is at the heart of what we do and this night was a reminder of why it matters.

Meet our Speakers for the Medical Professions Mixer 2026!

At the Medical Professions Mixer, you’ll hear real, unfiltered stories about pathways into medicine, research, and healthcare, what day-to-day life actually looks like in these fields, and how non-linear journeys can still lead to fulfilling careers. You’ll also have the unique opportunity to ask questions one-on-one, connect personally with our speakers, and gain insight you won’t find in lectures or textbooks.
