⚜️We are pleased to share that the founder and director of CARE4NEt, Dr. Houssem Eddine Ben-Ahmed, co-authored a peer-reviewed paper with the founder and director of the Canadian Health Workforce Network (CHWN), Dr. Ivy Bourgeault. This paper is published in the Journal – R***e Recherches Sociographiques – a multidisciplinary Journal. This scholarly contribution is a significant addition to the Strategic Theme 1 | Nursing Workforce Issues, one of the six strategic themes guiding our Network’s mission.

This paper represents a call for political action to promote the ethical recruitment of internationally educated nurses.

⚜️We are pleased to share that our CARE4NEt research members, Dr. Houssem Eddine Ben-Ahmed, Dr. Intissar Souli, and Dr. Emmanuel Akwasi Marfo, have just published an original, open-access, peer-reviewed paper in the Journal – Health Policy and Technology (Elsevier) – a Q1 Journal with an Impact Factor of 3.7 and a CiteScore of 6.2. This scholarly contribution is a significant addition to the Strategic Theme 1 | Nursing Workforce Issues, one of the six strategic themes guiding our Network’s mission. Our research members co-authored this paper with Abir Rabhi, a PhD student at the Faculty of Nursing, Université de Montréal (Canada).

⚜️This achievement reflects the growing impact of CARE4NEt’s research community and the dedication of our members to fostering innovation and excellence in nursing leadership.On this occasion, we would like to thank the University of Ottawa for covering the Open access fees.

⚜️To celebrate Nurses Week 2025, CARE4NEt was proud to launch its new platform: e-MemberSpace. This innovative space is designed to provide nurses with valuable resources and foster global connections where they can learn from and inspire one another. We are very grateful for the success of yesterday’s event and would like to sincerely thank all attendees who joined us both virtually and in person.

We were honored to celebrate this occasion with outstanding Guest Speakers:

• Dr. Farinaz Havaei, Associate Professor, and Founder and Director of the HOPE Lab, University of British Columbia (Canada)
