SPOT Research Day was held on June 1, 2026 with over 60 students and researchers participating! The day included student presentations from our graduate award recipients, poster presentations, research laboratory booths to showcase technology, as well as a keynote address by Francois Michaud, PhD, from the University de Sherbrooke who spoke on Rehabilitation for Making Better Robots. The event ended with a panel discussion on Technology and Rehabilitation that sparked a great discussion and questions. La Journée annuelle de la recherche de l'ÉPE s’est tenue le 1er juin 2026, réunissant plus de 60 étudiant·e·s et chercheur·e·s.
La journée comprenait des présentations de personnes étudiantes récipiendaires de prix du programme d’études supérieures , des affiches scientifiques, ainsi que des kiosques de laboratoires permettant de mettre en valeur différentes technologies de recherche. Elle a également été marquée par une conférence d’honneur donnée par François Michaud, Ph. D., de l’Université de Sherbrooke, intitulée « Rehabilitation for Making Better Robots ».
L’événement s’est conclu par un panel d’expert·e·s sur les technologies et la réadaptation, qui a suscité de riches échanges et de nombreuses questions.
