A major new publication from Professor Corinne Hoesli and a multi-institutional team has just appeared in Cell Biomaterials by Cell Press.
“Multi-compartment bioartificial organs engineered via iterative sacrificial 3D printing and vascular integration” presents a novel approach for transplanting insulin-producing cells through a device designed to integrate directly with the body’s existing blood vessels, enabling immediate blood flow and improved cell function.
