According to Unesco, around the globe, the lives of at least 1.5 billion students and their families have been significantly affected by the school closures caused by the COVID-19 outbreak.

Especially families of children with learning disabilities (LDs) are coping with the effects of school closures and online learning that are increasing their barriers not only to education but also to their mental and physical health and their well-being.

At Oppimi we have been working since 2015 for creating clinically validated digital tools for helping parents, teachers and healthcare professionals in screening and diagnosing kids affected by LDs.

To cope with this though moment at Oppimi we decided to launch a data collection initiative that is going to accelerate the release of tools for screening, diagnosing and treating LDs remotely. Oppimi Data app, available for iPads, hosts a variety of exercises focused on data collection with the purpose to find universal predictors of handwriting capabilities.

Oggi più che mai sono necessarie soluzioni digitali per lo screening, anche da remoto, dei bambini con problemi di apprendimento (DSA) per poter intervenire il prima possibile ad aiutarli a sviluppare correttamente le loro abilità.

Oppimi è felice di annunciare il lancio dell'iniziativa di raccolta dati per la ricerca sui problemi di apprendimento nei bambini.

Dal 2015 Oppimi sta collaborando con università, ospedali e scuole in Canada, Italia, Finlandia e Cina per sviluppare strumenti clinicamente validati per lo screening, la diagnosi e il supporto dei bambini con DSA.
