Follow for my ✨️RICH PEOPLE THINGS ✨️ Series.
The 5 things 'Succession' taught me about rich people (and yes, it tracks IRL):
1️⃣ The wealthy don’t take clown-level risks.
When Logan Roy tells a biz associate, “I cannot pile my chips on something that is not solid,” he means it.
Real wealth isn’t built on vibes and red flags—it’s built on fundamentals. (Index girlies, you already know.)
2️⃣ They’ve got a PhD in sensing BS.
Roman flew to Turkey for a deal that looked shiny… then immediately clocked the whole thing as nonsense.
The rich can sniff out BS from a mile away—probably because half of them perfected the craft themselves. 🫠
3️⃣ Blood over marriage. Every. Single. Time.
Shiv was ready to toss her own husband overboard in season 2 to keep the company afloat—until he hinted he might walk.
Loyalty is conditional… but the family name? That’s sacred.
4️⃣ Legacy > their own kids’ feelings.
Logan throwing Kendall under the bus (again and again) to fix a PR disaster he didn’t even cause?
Peak billionaire energy. Protect the empire first, clean up the emotional carnage never.
5️⃣ And yet…family first is the motto.
For all the betrayal, manipulation, and Greg-level chaos, the Roys still default to family when the stakes skyrocket.
Messy, dysfunctional, but all else being equal? Family first.

Death, s*x and money.
The three topics that people are most ashamed to talk about.
But let's be real, money is still the most avoided.
Money shame keeps people stuck in their money game.
But worse, it keeps people stuck in life.
Here’s an excerpt from a money journal of one of our coaching students (with permission), in hopes of un-shaming money trauma:
"From a young age, I had decided that investing was synonymous with gambling.
With a father who worked as an investment advisor, but who unfortunately (and unknowingly) was also was living with bipolar disorder, many bad money decisions were made. The gains were thrilling for him, but the losses were devastating for us.
I have many memories of my mom having intense anxiety, even sleeping once with a large paper bag filled with over ten thousand in cash under her pillow. I think it was from some successful investments that were sold, and he must have cashed out at a desperate time, to give her something to pay bills with.
She was literally terrified it would disappear into thin air.
Now in my 30s, I've become aware of the impact this had on me as a child. That anxiety followed me into adulthood. My parents were opposites in how they handled their money. With no solid guidance from either of them, and a little mental illness of my own, I ended up becoming a spender like my father, but was terrified of gambling in the markets.
Years after their divorce, I hear my father is struggling. My mother has a good salary, is thrifty and was always good at saving money so she pulled herself together and is financially stable today.
I, however, never learned how to properly manage my money until I started Anjali's course. I still have some self-work to do but it's already made a world of difference, a little over a year later.
And I'm an investor. I'm investing sustainably, using a reliable, tested method that minimizes risk and I'm confident I will earn without high highs and low lows. It's comforting and liberating all at the same time."
