On June 26 2019, Cancer Awareness Day, it is crucial to highlight the important role human papillomavirus (HPV), the most common STI, plays in causing cervical cancer. In honour of all cancer survivors, people who are still fighting, and those to come, we are working hard to better understand HPV and how to prevent it. Currently, different prevention methods are under study.

En ce 26 juin 2019, jour de la sensibilisation du cancer, il importe que l’on soulève l’importance du virus du papillome humain (VPH). À ce sujet, il faut savoir que le VPH est la cause première du cancer du col de l’utérus. De plus, il est lié aux cancers de la gorge (oropharynx), du pénis et de l’anus.

En honneur de tous.tes les survivant.e.s du cancer, des personnes qui se battent encore, et ceux.celles à venir, nous mettons tous nos efforts pour mieux comprendre le VPH et les moyens de le prévenir. Ces différents moyens sont actuellement à l’étude.

Participez à l’une de nos études rémunérées et aidez-nous à contribuer aux développements de méthodes fiables, efficaces et accessibles. Pour prévenir à la fois ce virus et les cancers qui en résultent !
