We believe that everyone has an inner child-like artist that is a worthy adversary for even our loudest inner critic. Through spontaneous creative all-inclusive art projects, PopArt McGill encourages the McGill community to disconnect from expectations and invest in strengthening our true inner child. What does this mean exactly: "disconnect from expectations and invest in strengthening our true i

In midterm season, this is important to keep in mind. Go with the flow...
"We are all floating in a tremendous river and the river carries you along. Some of the people in the river are swimming against the current, but they are still being carried along. Others have learned that the art of the thing is to swim with it. You have to flow with the river. There is no other way. You can swim against it, and pretend not to be flowing with it. But you still flow with the river." ~Alan Watts

Coming full circle ;) it's all about happy patterns.
PopArt McGill was born from a project in MGPO 438 "Social Entrepreneurship and Innovation" taught by Anita Nowak. We highly recommend the class.
She allowed to let us pilot "No Brainer" in her classroom last Wednesday. See for yourself, it was a huge success. Artists remarked they felt they were a child in art class again, they felt relaxed, and it was an easy activity for those that felt critical or shy of their creative abilities to be artistic. Check out the results for yourself! Get excited....
