HEY PARENTS…Giving your dysregulated child a screen is like curing a morning hangover with another drink…might help for just a moment but you’ll pay later and the cycle will continue. The actual solution? Moderation. Set reasonable limits around screens and notice if your child can recover quickly after screen-time. The surest sign they can handle screens is your child’s responding “Okay.” to your “Sorry, tablet’s not available right now” It’s hard. You can do this. It matters so much.
