CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS!
The Biology Student Association (BSA) will be publishing the 2023 edition of the Telomere Times magazine, and we are giving students the chance to submit their own article for the chance to win:
- A spot in the Telomere Times
- A gift card of up to $100 in value
- A free dinner party invite for the launch
Almost any writing piece is allowed (case study, interview,...) so long as it involves a topic in biology, ecology, genetics, or similar field. 500 words minimum, and the article must be submitted in Word (docx) format. You may supply us with images of your choice provided you have the right to use them.
You may send us your article either via Facebook, Instagram, or email at [email protected] Feel free to ask us any questions you may have via any of those channels.

Concordia is having its 34th Shuffle Fundraiser. It raises money for student scholarships, bursaries and services.
The Biology Department is raising money for Dr. Bob Roy Memorial fund. Dr. Roy was a long-time faculty member of the Biology Department. He played a critical role in establishing the Richard J. Renaud Science Complex on the Loyola Campus. Dr. Roy's family continues to support Biology students by providing financial assistance.

The final computer science workshop, "Programming for Scientists", will be taking place this Thursday, September 21st, at the RF 110 room from 11 to 12.
Hosted by VP Internal Michael Persico, this workshop will provide science students with the fundamentals of programming, including key concepts as well as industry coding exercises that will be conducted together.

The BSA is proud to present two new workshops, "Computers for Scientists" and "Programming for Scientists".
These complementary workshops, hosted by VP Internal Michael Persico, will provide science students with the fundamentals of how computers work as well as teach valuable informatics skills that will prove vital in the industry.
The first workshop will take place on September 13th at RF 120, and the second workshop on September 21st at RF 110. Both will be 1 hour long from 11 to 12.
Limited seating available! Lunch will be served 🍕, prizes will be given 🎁, and knowledge will be shared 🧠
