Presenting Walsy to kindergarten kids is always such a joy! Their curious minds and eager little voices sharing their own stories (even if they go totally off-topic!) bring so much laughter. It’s the giggles, the random events from ā€˜yesterday,’ and their big imaginations that make these moments unforgettable. 🌟

Mood lately šŸ˜‚

When I first embarked on this journey, I knew very little about the publishing world. All I wanted to do was write a story that kids facing challenges - whether physical, mental, or behavioral—could see themselves in, and feel seen in a more positive light. I knew it would be a challenging path, but self-publishing was the right track for me, given my marketing background and the fact that I bounced between the creative and business world with much ease.

After almost a year of publishing ā€œWalsy: The Red Gloveā€, I’ve met so many interesting people, withnessed first hand the beaming smile on kids’ faces at the sight of a funny character going through similar challenges, and received countless heartwarming messages from parents who have found value and comfort in this series.

Walsy is still far from where I envision it to be - the road is long, messy, full of setbacks with doors that just wont open… but the key is out there, just have to keep looking and moving forward.

A great book šŸ“• and a bit of chocolate šŸ« make a perfect recipe for young friendships that blossom and create magical memories filled with imagination and laughter.

Moments like these remind us how the simplest joys can spark connection and a love for stories that last a lifetime.
