FIRST POST OF OUR NEW SERIES - cool clothes on campus!
This is Charles. He’s majoring in
international development and art history.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: I could say that my style is a bit eclectic! I love to mix and match all types of clothes to create an outfit in which I can truly express myself.
Q: What does fashion mean to you?
A: For me, fashion is a way to have fun! Why be so boring, when you can show your colors to the world!
Charles did not remember where they got their coat as it was a gift but similar styles can be found at Harsh and Cruel.

"As of last March, McQueen has been missed for eleven years now. A great mind with an unusual sensitivity, Alexander McQueen was, without a doubt, one of the most memorable designers of all times. Uniting art and fashion, he made his audience feel through his collections. It was highly visible that his designs were cathartic and even more so autobiographical."

"With the body positivity movement rising in popularity, fashion brands have started to feature models that don’t wear a size zero. From the outside, it looks like the fashion industry is finally taking a step in the right direction after making society believe for too long that beauty is equal to being thin and having perfect hair and skin. But how body diverse is the fashion world, really?"

Alicia Essig (.essig ). McGill University, Major in Marketing & Concentration in Retail Management. Wearing pieces from a German fashion design student ( ).
Regarding her style, Alicia states:
“I would describe my personal style as simple & timeless. I like to combine basics with statement pieces like a flashy coat, belt or pair of shoes.
Instead of following specific trends, I prefer to wear items that make me feel most confident and like myself.
I wear whatever I feel like on a specific day - so it can range anywhere from an androgynous style to a more chic and styled look.”
