Finally on holidays until July 19th! ☀️

Ironically enough, I took two weeks off to make progress on my writing without the everyday pressures of running a business 😆 But I’ll also make sure to enjoy this free time, play tourist in my new city, and live new experiences… because at the end of the day, those are the moments that enrich our writing the most.

Have a beautiful summer everyone, and don’t hesitate to visit Sherbrooke! 🌿 It’s such a lovely city surrounded by nature, with so much to discover.

If you have a story in you but don’t know how to begin, this is for you.

I’m opening a new Online summer session of the writing workshop “Your Story Matters” (August 17 – September 21).

Over the past sessions, I’ve noticed that most people don’t struggle with having a story, they struggle with knowing how to start.

That’s why this workshop is built around small, structured steps: turning lived experience into short, meaningful 200-word scenes, without pressure or perfection.

If you’ve ever felt like writing, but never quite started, this is a gentle place to begin.

I’ll share more details soon, but if you’re curious, feel free to reach out or comment and I’ll send info or add you to the waiting list.

🎉 A personal milestone I'm proud to share! 🎉

I recently took the Duolingo English Test as part of my application for a scholarship, and I'm excited to share that I achieved an Advanced (CEFR C1) overall score!

This achievement feels even more meaningful when I look back at my journey. In 2017, when I first took the IELTS Academic test, I scored 6.5 overall (B2 level).

Seeing this progress over the years is incredibly rewarding and reminds me that growth comes through persistence, continuous learning, and stepping outside our comfort zones.

I’m grateful to everyone who has supported and encouraged me along the way—even those who patiently practiced words and pronunciation with me over and over again. Your guidance, encouragement, and belief in me have made a real difference.

A special thanks to Anneli Andre-Barrett for her patience over the past few weeks and for putting up with my funny pronunciation mistakes! I've become somewhat "infamous" for mispronouncing a few words… especially the word "infamous" itself. 😉😂

Here's to lifelong learning, continuous improvement, and celebrating every step forward! 🚀

Les 4 dernières semaines, j’ai eu le privilège de voir des personnes se présenter avec honnêteté, vulnérabilité, curiosité et courage, non seulement pour écrire, mais aussi pour partager des parts d’elles-mêmes qu’il est souvent difficile de mettre en mots.

Ce que j’aimais le plus, c’est ces espaces de création nous rappellent que l’écriture ne se résume pas à la technique. C’est aussi une question d’attention, d’écoute, de mémoire, de voix et de connexion.

Je suis profondément reconnaissante envers toutes les personnes qui m’ont accordé leur confiance, tout au long de ce processus.

Et ce n’est que le début.

Je prépare actuellement la deuxième partie de l’atelier Ton Histoire Compte, intitulée L’art de la Réécriture, qui portera sur la transformation d’un premier brouillon en un texte plus fort, plus clair et plus porteur.

Parce que l’écriture ne s’arrête pas à l’inspiration. Bien souvent, c’est là que le vrai travail commence.

Merci encore à toutes les personnes qui ont participé 💛 Nous sommes arrivés !
