Le programme de formation professionnelle Somatic Experiencing® (« SE™ ») est un programme de formation pluriannuel qui permet aux praticiens de travailler plus efficacement avec les symptômes de traumatisme. Cette formation est dispensée à travers une combinaison de cours magistraux, de démonstrations et de séances de pratique guidée avec d'autres étudiants. Les supports de cours sont dispensés en 8 modules de formation de 4 à 6 jours étalés sur 2 ans et demi à 3 ans. Les modules doivent être suivis dans l'ordre.

À Montréal, nous nous efforçons de faire en sorte que les personnes qui débutent leur apprentissage soient introduites dans une nouvelle "cohorte". Cela permet aux étudiants de poursuivre leurs études avec le même groupe de personnes avec lesquelles ils ont commencé. Bien que ce ne soit pas une exigence, on s'attend à ce que les participants suivent leur cohorte tout au long du programme de formation.

En raison de la durée d'achèvement de cette formation, la candidature au programme de Montréal n'a lieu qu'une fois toutes les quelques années. L'application à notre prochain programme sera en 2023.

The Somatic Experiencing® (“SE™”) Professional Training curriculum is a multi-year training program which enables practitioners to more effectively work with trauma symptoms. This training is delivered through a combination of lecture, demonstration, and guided practice sessions with other students. Course material is taught in 8 training modules of 4 to 6 days in length, spaced out over 2½ to 3 years. Modules must be taken sequentially.

While it is not a requirement, it is an expectation that participants will follow their cohort through the training program. Due to the length of completion for this training, application for the Montreal program only happens once every few years. Application to our next program will be in 2023.
