The Healthy Heart Project is led by Dr. Jennifer McGrath's Pediatric Public Health Psychology Laboratory.
Here in the Healthy Heart Lab we aim to understand the links between various factors present in childhood that can influence the risk of cardiovascular disease in adulthood. We recruit children aged 10-15 to help us understand this link and help advance the knowledge on cardiovascular health

Flyers for our project have been posted around the city by our amazing research assistants! If you spot one, give us a call to get information about our study and volunteer to participate to earn up to 100$!! (for children between the ages of 10-15).
The Healthy Heart Study will be giving out flyers containing information about our project this Friday to Sunday (June 7-9th) at the Eureka Science Festival in the Old Port! Come say hi and hear about our work!

Meet Sarah....
"Hi everyone! My name is Sarah. I am in my second year of Psychology here at Concordia University and my goal is to one day obtain my Ph.D in Child psychology. Later on I want to pursue my dreams of working with children in schools and having my own private practice. I enjoy volunteering for the PPHP lab because we get to work with participants and their parents on this amazing Healthy Heart project. On my free time, I like to read, dance and travel. "
