Picked up this super fun game for Valentina from .
It’s such a fun game to practice simple addition/subtraction as well as even and odd numbers.
We had a lot of fun playing, Gioia joined in too (obviously it was tough for her but she was able to practice easy ones like 1+1 or 2+2)
Check out our 1,2,3 highlights to hear and see them in action!

Brought this fun North Pole snow sensory bin back! The girls LOVE IT sooo much!! The possibilities are endless and their imagination while they play is so fun to hear and see.
Simple set up…
❄️ North Pole snow (fake snow from Dollarama)
❄️ Fun Christmas accessories(all from the dollar store)
❄️Containers and scooping tools
Yes it can get messy but this bin kept them entertained all day. I left it open and then kept going back to it to play.
Check out our stories to hear about what they made.

Code Couleur is such a fun game. It is a great way to exercise their brains, practice shapes and have fun! Some of the challenges were even a little tricky for me 🙈🤣!

This little activity is so much fun for toddlers! Such a great way to practice colours, matching and fine motor skills.
Gioia first discovered this activity at daycare. She loved it so much we got one for home too! So many different designs included!
I also used this as a way to practice her colour recognition. When she would pick up a peg piece I would have her name me the colour before she placed it on the board.
We found this one on Amazon!

This light up drawing board is the coolest thing ever!! Valentina absolutely loves it.
There are special markers you can use to trace each imagine and when it’s done you wipe it clean and start over! You can change the colour light on the board too! She had soo much fun with this and it’s also easy to bring along when you’re going out to the restaurant or on vacation.
Can be found on Amazon.

Over the weekend Valentina was curious about numbers and adding, so I came across this fun rain cloud activity. It was a great way to introduce her to addition.
All you need is…
🌧 Paper
🌧Paint
🌧Marker
I drew out clouds on a paper and simple additions inside. She used her finger to make the raindrops under each cloud. It was such a fun way to practice adding and seeing it visually.
She LOVED it! Check out our 1,2,3 story highlight to hear her in action!

Calling all teacher followers, just wanted to share with you some things I did last week when I welcomed my new group of grade 1 students. ✏️
This year I found the sweetest book called ‘A letter from your Teacher on the first day of school’ by Shannon Olsen. It is such a beautiful story of how this year we will become a family at school. I highly recommend it! ❤️
Then we did a handout that was shared with me when I first started teaching about how we feel on the first day of school. We had a classroom discussion on how we are all feeling on the first day of school, as it is a big transition from Kindergarten.
Lastly, I love to do an ‘All About Me’ just so we can all get to know each other better, I always do one too! 😊 i found this one on .
I use this to decorate my door so that they feel like the class is their space. ❤️

So we’ve been a little MIA because last week was back to school and we were both busy with our little ones settling into a new routine!
One of our little hands Valentina started Kindergarten last week 🥲 it was a big transition for all of us but she did amazing! She walked right in and never looked back ❤️. We prepared as much as we could by reading her stories about kindergarten and starting school (the two books in the picture are amazing!) we also practiced what getting ready for school looks like in the morning. I explained to her how her day will be broken down at school and how it was different from daycare. She was very excited but a little nervous so we talked about how she was feeling and it was totally normal for her to feel this way.
To help ease her , I even picked up these cute matching heart bracelets. Any time she missed me during the day all she had to do was look at her arm and know mommy was with her ❤️.
These are some things we did to get her ready, but we would love to know what are some things you guys have done with your little ones?

What to do on a rainy day ☔️? Practice your alphabet with minimal to no prep activities like these 2!
Gioia and I started off with our alphabet acorns game. We practiced our letter recognition, letter sounds, colours and fine motor skills.
Then we moved onto our alphabet cupcakes, this time we did it without the muffin tins and she loved it. We matched our upper case letters and then our lower case letters to the upper case ones. As we did it, I asked her to name me the letter, the sound and then a word that began with that letter.
Quick little set ups are easy and a great way to get some learning in!
