Building connections doesn't stop when the program ends.

This week, our participants attended a follow-up (suivi) session where they had the opportunity to reconnect, share updates on their job search journey, and expand their professional network. These sessions are an important part of the process, helping participants stay motivated, exchange experiences, and continue building meaningful connections that can support their career goals.

Networking opens doors to new opportunities, valuable advice, and a stronger sense of community. We are proud to see our participants supporting one another as they move forward on their employment journey.

Congratulations to PPE8 on completing the Employability Program at Centre Inicio

Throughout the program, participants demonstrated commitment, growth, and determination while working toward their employment goals. From developing new skills to building confidence and supporting one another, this cohort has accomplished so much along the way.

We are proud of PPE8 and wish all graduates continued success in their future opportunities and career journeys.

We had the pleasure of welcoming Sarah Cunningham from MAISON DE L'AMITIE - Montréal to Centre Inicio as a guest speaker.

Sarah gave an insightful presentation on the wide range of services offered, including language classes, community events, and the many ways individuals can get involved.

A big highlight was the discussion around volunteering opportunities. These experiences go far beyond giving back—they help participants build practical skills, gain confidence, and stay active in the community while working toward their personal and professional goals.

It was a great opportunity for participants to learn about new resources available to them and explore meaningful ways to stay engaged, continue learning, and grow.

Last Friday, our participants had the opportunity to attend Connect Day at Ernst & Young.

It was a great experience to step into a professional environment, connect with industry professionals, and learn more about different career paths. Moments like these help build confidence and open new perspectives.

A big thank you to Ernst & Young for hosting this event and to Marina for organizing this opportunity and making it possible for our participants to be part of such a meaningful day.
