Happy New Year’s Eve 2026: Happy New Year’s Eve 2026

I accept and embrace the passing of 2025, as I am preparing to greet the New Year of 2026.

I forgive others who may have harmed me.

I forgive myself for any harm that I may have caused to others and myself.

I congratulate myself for my successes and overcoming obstacles, as well as thanking those who helped me, my Ancestors, and my Daughter whose Soul fulfilled its earthly task.

Accepting and embracing my past, I am able to move forward with joy and optimism into 2026 – a New Year full of opportunity.

Official EFT from A to Z: The book Official EFT from A to Z: How to use both forms of Emotional Freedom Techniques for self-healing is a friendly, comprehensive, and deeply practical guide that makes learning Emotional Freedom Techniques – EFT both accessible and engaging. It is written in a way that will be helpful whether you’re new to EFT or already familiar with the method.

Written collaboratively by Gary Craig — the founder of EFT — and Gabriëlle Rutten — a former medical doctor turned EFT practitioner, this book offers readers a clear path to understanding and applying EFT for emotional, psychological, and even physical well-being.

My Experience With EFT

I was taught EFT in 1995 by Crystal Hawk, A.B., M.Ed. who was taught by Gary Craig the founder of EFT.

Crystal was a Gestalt psychotherapist/educator, EFT practitioner, and Therapeutic Touch practitioner in private practice in Toronto, Ontario.

A Clear Introduction to EFT

One of the biggest strengths of Official EFT from A to Z is how the book breaks down a potentially complex topic into simple, actionable instruction.

Whether you are a complete beginner or someone who has heard about tapping but never tried it, the authors make the fundamental concepts easy to grasp.

At its core, EFT combines gentle tapping on specific points on the body with mindful statements that help you work through emotional barriers and disrupt unhelpful thought patterns.

Although EFT has its critics in scientific communities, many people have found the practice personally empowering and useful — and this book helps explain *why* and *how* to use it effectively.

Gary Craig’s own perspective as the creator of EFT gives the book an authentic voice. He provides the **original and foundational protocols** — known as Gold Standard EFT — in a clear way that beginners can follow without feeling overwhelmed.

Gabriëlle Rutten complements this by integrating her clinical and practical experience, especially in how to apply EFT for specific issues people commonly face.

A Dual Approach: Gold Standard and Optimal EFT

The book is divided into sections that teach both the **Gold Standard EFT** and **Optimal EFT** formats.

* Gold Standard EFT is the more widely taught version of tapping, ideal for everyday emotional challenges like stress, anxiety, or phobias.

* Optimal EFT is a newer iteration that explores deeper psychological patterns and can be used for more complex emotional work.

Together, they offer readers two complementary approaches to healing.

This dual approach is one of the book’s greatest assets. It not only shows *how* to perform EFT but also *why* certain steps in the process work — giving you confidence to adapt the techniques to your own life.

The authors take time to explain the logic behind the sequence of tapping and affirmations, which makes learning both fun and empowering.

A Practical Self-Help Guide to EFT

Unlike some self-help books that remain theoretical or vague, Official EFT from A to Z is hands-on and practical. Throughout its pages, you’ll find step-by-step instructions you can use right away, for example:

* How to identify emotional stress patterns

* How to apply EFT to specific sensations like anxiety or frustration

* How to adapt the technique to work on recurring emotional themes

The book also includes insights into the emotional underpinnings of more than 200 physical and mental symptoms, making it not just a how-to manual, but a reference guide you can return to again and again. This makes it valuable whether you want to use EFT on yourself or integrate it into a professional practice.

What makes this book especially helpful is its supportive tone. The authors encourage readers to be patient with themselves and emphasize that even small changes can be meaningful. Rather than promising quick fixes, they invite readers into a gentle process of self-discovery and growth.

Who Will Love This Book?

Because the book is written in easy-to-follow language, Official EFT from A to Z is ideal for:

* First-time learners who want to build emotional resilience

* People dealing with stress, anxiety, pain, or negative thought patterns

* Practitioners wanting a solid reference handbook for their clients

* Anyone curious about mind-body tools for self-healing

The collaborative voice of Craig and Rutten gives the book a balanced blend of foundational wisdom and clinical insight that’s uncommon in many self-help or alternative therapy books. Rutten’s medical doctor background adds credibility and relatability, especially for readers who appreciate a thoughtful fusion of practical technique and compassionate guidance.

Some Final Thoughts

Official EFT from A to Z is a wonderfully encouraging and empowering book that demystifies Emotional Freedom Techniques, while giving readers every tool they need to start using EFT independently. Whether you’re seeking relief from emotional stressors or simply want to explore a new self-help practice, this book supports you with clarity, heart, and depth.

If you’re looking for a self-healing resource that feels both comprehensive and user-friendly, this guide is a valuable addition to your personal development library. You can find it on Amazon at Official EFT from A to Z.

Thank You by Fearless Soul: Thank You by Fearless Soul captured my attention when I first heard it and it is now part of My Morning Kickstart Music playlist. Listen to the latest tunes on my YouTube Channel Morning Kickstart Music playlist.

Thank you

Thank you for this day

Thank you for every moment that led to this day

Thank you for the hard times

They made me appreciate the good times

Thank you for the lessons

They were needed for my development

Thank you for my eyes

That get to witness the miracles of today and tomorrow

Thank you for all of my blessings

Thank you for everything I take for granted

(Mhm, mhm, mhm, mhm)

When I’m thinking about hard times

And all those times we made it through

I’m thinking about my life

And deep down I’m so grateful

I’ve learned to give thanks in advance

For what’s already yours

For what’s already yours (ours)

And no, don’t take a day for granted

Look for daily miracles

All those daily miracles

Running through the pages in my mind

All the different stages of my life

I’m so grateful, I say, “thank you”

Even when I’m going through hard times

I know the future’s bright

‘Cause I’m grateful, I say, “thank you”

Running through the pages in my mind

All the different stages of my life

I’m so grateful, I say, “thank you” (oh-oh-oh)

Even when I’m going through hard times (through hard…)

(Times) I know the future’s bright

‘Cause I’m grateful, I say, “thank you”

Thank you

It’s the little things

The air that I breathe, the clothes on my back

The places I’ve been, the things that I see

Others aren’t so blessed

I could of been born with so much less

All of the gifts that I possess

I let my gratitude grow (grow)

I learned to give thanks in advance

For what’s already yours

For what’s already yours

And no, don’t take a day for granted

Look for daily miracles

All those daily miracles

Running through the pages in my mind

All the different stages of my life

I’m so grateful, I say, “thank you”

Even when I’m going through hard times (oh-oh)

I know the future’s bright (ooh)

‘Cause I’m grateful, I say, “thank you”

Running through the pages in my mind (ooh)

All the different stages of my life (ooh)

I’m so grateful, I say, “thank you”

Even when I’m going through (times) hard times

I know the future’s (bright) bright (ooh)

‘Cause I’m grateful, I say, “thank you”

Thank you

Believe Lyrics

You have to believe in yourself

You have to believe in your ability

You are capable of anything

You can achieve any dream

Please don’t limit yourself

Don’t live your life limited

It’s not all sadness and misery

Life’s a challenge but you will succeed

Take control of how you feel

In every circumstance

Work on yourself daily

Your story is far from done

The best is yet to come

To achieve you must believe

You can live out all your dreams

Persevere you’ll make it through

What you need is all in you

When you believe you will achieve

You can live out all your dreams

It’s about time you knew the truth

You’ve got the power all in you

You have to believe in yourself

You don’t have to hide anything

You can be your true self

Don’t need to follow society

Never forget that you’re blessed

Give thanks for everything

Even the hard times

Will turn out to be blessings

No matter how you feel

You can learn from your pain

It’s there to make you great

Your story’s far from done

The best is yet to come

To achieve you must believe

You can live out all your dreams

Persevere you’ll make it through

What you need is all in you

When you believe you will achieve

You can live out all your dreams

It’s about time you knew the truth

You’ve got the power all in you

To achieve you must believe

You can live out all your dreams

Persevere you’ll make it through

What you need is all in you

When you believe you will achieve

You can live out all your dreams

It’s about time you knew the truth

You’ve got the power all in you

My Story of Resilience: I’m Richard Edward Ward and My Story of Resilience involves me having had to rebuild my life a number of times as the Creator has provided me with challenges that have definitely provided me with opportunities for Reconnecting With Spirit, and appreciating more and more my connection to the Creator.

These challenges have included Traumatic Brain Injury, heart attack, prostate cancer, heart stopping for 5 minutes during TAVI, and the death of daughter.

TBI – Traumatic Brain Injury

I am a TBI (Traumatic Brain Injury) Survivor. In March 2000 my car was rear-ended by a truck while I was stopped at a red light. This resulted in head injuries and being diagnosed as suffering from Traumatic Brain Injury. My life was turned upside-down.

Memory loss and multiple cognitive issues seriously interrupted my career as a recruiter and headhunter.

Heart Attack

I had a heart attack resulting in an angioplasty in September 2004. This was just 4 years after the car accident that lead to the diagnosis of TBI.

As a result, recovery became a priority for me and I had to shut down the online job board that I had created and spent four years nurturing. It was just starting to gain traction and generating a steady monthly revenue.

Prostate Cancer

In 2020 I was diagnosed with aggressive Prostate Cancer. After 4 weeks of radiotherapy and 18 months of injections of Firmagon/Dagarelix the prostate cancer is under control. I have 6 month follow-ups.

I was treated at CHUM – Le Centre hospitalier de l’Université de Montréal by fantastic technicians lead by Dr. Fred Saad and Dr. Maroie Barkati. What a blessing!

Aortic Heart Valve Replacement – Heart Stopped for 5 Minutes

“Did you notice us scrambling to bring you back?”- Dr. Ali

I was diagnosed with a leaky aortic heart valve in 2015. Things progressed as they do and in October 2023 I had a TAVR – transcatheter aortic valve replacement – performed by Dr. Ali Abualsaud with a amazing team of doctors, surgeons, nurses, and technicians at the Jewish General Hospital in Montreal.

My heart stopped for 5 minutes during the procedure just as the valve settled on my heart. I am still here. God the Creator and My Guardian Angel were definitely watching over me.

As my cardiologist said a few weeks later, “If you hadn’t had Dr. Ali looking after you we probably wouldn’t be talking today.”

Death of My Daughter

My daughter died unexpectedly on June 21, 2024. Just six days before her birthday. She was 40. It was sudden.

I was speaking to her Friday evening and by Saturday morning she was dead. Brutal. We were very close. She was a dear friend and I miss her.

There Is Only One Day: Today: There is only one day: today.

It is just one day,

And today is the day.

But, there are two days in every week

about which we should not worry,

Two days which should be kept free

of fear and apprehension.

One of these days is YESTERDAY,

With its mistakes and cares,

Its faults and blunders,

Its aches and pains.

YESTERDAY has passed

forever beyond our control.

All the money in the world

cannot bring back YESTERDAY.

We cannot undo a single act

we performed;

We cannot erase a single word we said.

YESTERDAY is gone.

The other day we should not worry about is TOMORROW,

With its possible adversities,

its burdens,

its larger promise.

TOMORROW is also beyond our immediate control.

TOMORROW, the sun will rise,

Either in splendor or behind a mask of clouds,

But it will rise.

Until it does,

we have no stake in TOMORROW

For it is as yet unborn.

This leaves only one day – TODAY.

Anyone can fight the battles of just one day.

It is only when you and I add the burdens

of those two awful eternities

– YESTERDAY and TOMORROW –

That we break down.

It is not the experience of TODAY

that drives us mad.

It is remorse or bitterness

for something which happened YESTERDAY

And the dread

of what TOMORROW may bring.

Let us, therefore, live but ONE day at a time.

There is only One day: Today.

It is just one day,

And today is the day.

Hebrew Bible – Tanakh: The Hebrew Bible – Tanakh, is the cornerstone of Jewish tradition and a text that has profoundly shaped world history. Its tripartite structure, enduring importance in Judaism, and complex relationship to the Christian Bible Old Testament make it one of the most studied and influential collections of writings ever assembled.

Structure of the Tanakh

The word Tanakh is an acronym formed from the first letters of its three divisions:

* Torah (Law)

* Nevi’im (Prophets), and

* Ketuvim (Writings).

Torah – Law (תורה)

The Torah, also known as the Pentateuch, comprises the first five books: Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy.

These texts narrate the creation of the world, the patriarchs, the Exodus from Egypt, and the giving of the Law at Mount Sinai, and importantly they form the theological and legal foundation of Judaism.

Nevi’im – Prophets (נביאים)

The Prophets are divided into two groups:

* Former Prophets: Joshua, Judges, Samuel, and Kings — historical narratives of Israel’s rise, monarchy, and eventual exile.

* Latter Prophets: Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel, and the Twelve Minor Prophets. These books contain prophetic oracles, calls to justice, and visions of restoration.

Ketuvim – Writings (כתובים)

The Writings are a diverse collection including:

* poetry (Psalms, Proverbs, Song of Songs),

* wisdom literature (Job, Ecclesiastes),

* historical works (Chronicles, Ezra-Nehemiah), and

* narratives (Ruth, Esther, Daniel). This section reflects the breadth of Israel’s literary creativity.

Together, these three divisions encompass 24 books in the Jewish canon, though the Christian Old Testament counts them differently, resulting in 39 books.

Importance in Judaism

The Tanakh is not merely a book but a living tradition. Its significance in Judaism can be understood in several dimensions:

* Religious Authority: The Torah is read publicly in synagogues, forming the liturgical heartbeat of Jewish worship. Its commandments guide Jewish law (Halakhah), ethics, and daily practice.

* Cultural Identity: The narratives of the Tanakh — Abraham’s covenant, Moses leading Israel, the exile and return—define Jewish collective memory and identity.

* Spiritual Inspiration: Psalms and prophetic writings continue to inspire prayer, meditation, and moral reflection.

* Historical Continuity: Compiled between the 8th and 2nd centuries BCE, the Tanakh preserves Israel’s ancient voice across millennia.

For Jews, the Tanakh is not a static artifact but a dynamic text studied, debated, and reinterpreted in every generation.

Relationship to the Christian Bible Old Testament

While the content of the Tanakh and the Christian Bible Old Testament is essentially the same, the order and emphasis differ:

* In Judaism, the Tanakh ends with Chronicles, closing on the return from exile.

* In Christianity, the Old Testament ends with the prophets (Malachi), creating a narrative bridge to the New Testament.

* Book Division: Christian Bibles split books like Samuel, Kings, Chronicles, and Ezra-Nehemiah into two, increasing the count.

* Interpretation: Christians often read the Old Testament as a precursor to the New Testament, while Jews see the Tanakh as complete in itself.

This difference in framing highlights how shared texts can generate distinct religious traditions.

The Tanakh is the Jewish Bible; while the Old Testament is the Christian adaptation of the same writings with a Christian spin interpreting the Tanakh through a Christian lense.

Online Resources

For readers who want to explore the Tanakh further, here are some excellent online resources:

* Sefaria – A free, comprehensive library of Jewish texts in Hebrew and English.

* Jewish Virtual Library – Articles on the Tanakh’s history, structure, and interpretation.

* Bible Verses Study: Tanakh vs. Old Testament – Clear comparison of Jewish and Christian arrangements.

* Biblical Archaeology Society – Scholarly insights into differences between the Jewish Bible and Christian Old Testament.

* Bart Ehrman’s Guide to the Hebrew Bible – Historical and cultural perspectives on the Tanakh.

Conclusion

The Hebrew Bible (Tanakh) is more than scripture. It is the spiritual DNA of Judaism and a text that has profoundly influenced Christianity and Western culture. Its tripartite structure reflects centuries of literary and theological development, while its enduring importance lies in its ability to inspire faith, identity, and ethical reflection.

Understanding the Tanakh alongside the Christian Bible Old Testament reveals both common roots and divergent paths, reminding us of the power of sacred texts to shape civilizations.

Christian Bible: The Christian Bible is both an historical document and a living text, shaped by centuries of translation, interpretation, and devotion. Below is a comprehensive blog-style exploration of its history, versions, and differences with the Hebrew Bible (Tanakh) of Judaism, along with links to freely accessible online editions.

A Brief History of the Christian Bible

The Christian Bible is divided into two main sections: the Old Testament and the New Testament.

* Old Testament origins: Rooted in the Hebrew Scriptures, the Old Testament was largely transmitted through the Septuagint, a Greek translation produced in Alexandria around the 3rd–2nd centuries BCE. This version influenced early Christians, especially in the Greek-speaking world.

* New Testament formation: Written between the 1st and early 2nd centuries CE, the New Testament includes the Gospels, Acts, Epistles, and Revelation. By the 4th century, church councils began to formalise the canon, though variations persisted across traditions.

* Medieval transmission: For centuries, the Latin Vulgate, translated by St. Jerome in the 4th century, was the authoritative text in Western Christianity.

* Reformation impact: The 16th century saw vernacular translations flourish—Martin Luther’s German Bible (1522–1534), William Tyndale’s English New Testament (1526), and later the King James Version (1611). These translations made scripture accessible to lay readers and reshaped Christian practice.

Major Versions of the Bible

Different Christian traditions recognise varying canons and translations:

* Protestant Bibles: Typically 66 books (39 Old Testament, 27 New Testament).

* Catholic Bibles: 73 books, including the Deuterocanonical books (e.g., Tobit, Judith, Maccabees).

* Eastern Orthodox Bibles: Up to 79 books, with additional texts like 3 Maccabees and Psalm 151.

* Popular English translations:

* King James Version (KJV, 1611)

* New International Version (NIV, 1978)

* New Revised Standard Version (NRSV, 1989)

* English Standard Version (ESV, 2001)

Old Testament vs. Hebrew Bible (Tanakh)

While the Christian Old Testament and Hebrew Bible – Tanakh share much content, they differ in structure, canon, and interpretation:

* Number of books: The Tanakh contains 24 books, while Protestant Old Testaments count 39 (due to divisions like Samuel, Kings, and Chronicles being split).

Catholic and Orthodox canons include additional books.

* Order of books: The Tanakh is arranged into three sections — Torah (Law), Nevi’im (Prophets), and Ketuvim (Writings).

Christian Old Testaments follow the Septuagint order, grouping books into Law, History, Wisdom, and Prophets.
* Language and tradition: The Tanakh is preserved in Hebrew (with some Aramaic), while Christian Old Testaments often rely on Greek and later Latin traditions.

* Interpretive role: In Judaism, the Tanakh is foundational but accompanied by rabbinic commentary (Talmud, Mishnah).

In Christianity, the Old Testament is read in light of the New Testament, often as prophecy fulfilled in Christ.

Open Source and Online Bibles

For readers seeking free access, several open-source editions are available:

* Bible Gateway – Multiple translations, searchable.

* Blue Letter Bible – Study tools and interlinear texts.

* King James Bible Online – Free access to the KJV.

* Septuagint (LXX) Online – Free English translation of the Greek Old Testament.

* World English Bible – A modern, public-domain English translation.

* Sefaria – Open-source Hebrew Bible (Tanakh) with commentary.

Conclusion

The Christian Bible is not a single book but a library of texts shaped by history, translation, and tradition. Its versions reflect the diversity of Christian communities, while its differences with the Hebrew Bible highlight the unique paths of Judaism and Christianity.

Today, open-source online platforms ensure that anyone can explore these sacred writings, continuing a tradition of accessibility that began with the earliest translations.
