Due to the COVID-19, MiCM is taking precautions and special safety measures to keep it community safe. Following McGill recommendation we are cancelling our winter workshop series for now. Tickets purchased will all be refunded.

McGill Initiative in Computational Medicine (MiCM): MiCM was created within the Faculty of Medicine to respond to the opportunity of a better use of data and computational methods in Medicine. The main objectives of MiCM are to deliver inter-disciplinary research programs and empower the use of data in health research and health care delivery .

Summer Scholars Program Manager is responsible for:

- screening and ranking scholar applications and assisting in matching the top applicants with research projects
- organizing summertime gatherings and workshops for the summer scholars to talk about their projects, and providing general mentoring of the scholars
- acting as a resource person for scholars participating in the program to foster interests and innovations in computational medicine.
attending committee meetings

Summer Scholars Program Manager can benefit:

- project management experience
- leadership experience
- administrative experience
- team-building opportunities
- networking opportunities

Qualifications include but are not limited to:
PhD or equivalent degree
Currently a McGill post-doctoral fellow

Hours:
Part-time (4-5 hours/week)

Duration:
February-August 2020
