Job Posting:

Location Montague, PE
Work location: On site
Salary: 16.50 to 31.12 hourly (To be negotiated) / 40 hours per week
Terms of employment: Permanent employment, Full time
Starts as soon as possible
Experience: 1 year - 2 years
Job duties:
● To create and implement programs for children that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional and social development of children between the age 2-5 years old.
● To lead activities by reading stories, teaching songs, taking children to local points of interest by following the ELF framework and providing opportunities to express creativity through art, dramatic play, music and physical activity.
● To take care of the well-being of the children by making sure their environment is clean, safe and the children are properly cared for (proper hygiene, bum changes, food safety).
● To assess the children’s abilities, interests, and needs and discuss with parents and other staff members under the guidance of the Early Learning Framework of the PEI Preschool Excellence Initiative.
● To observe children for learning challenges or behavioral problems. If there is something suspected then prepare reports for parents/guardians, or professionals.
● To help children with their food routine for proper eating, dressing and toileting.
● To establish and maintain collaborative relationships with co-workers and community service providers working with children.

The Staff at Brilliant Me Academy EYC Inc. celebrated Diwali this Monday at the daycare. The staff worked hard decorating their classrooms, preparing food, and inviting Parents, Guardians, and Families into the learning environment to learn more about their culture and what Diwali means to them. We are so fortunate as a Centre to be able to spread the love and joy of celebrating such an amazing day with our community, staff, management, and children of Brilliant Me Academy.
