Carnival Day was an absolutely spectacular way to wrap up the school year, filled with laughter, excitement, and unforgettable memories! The gym was buzzing with energy as students enjoyed a vibrant array of games, activities, and treats that brought smiles to every face.

A heartfelt thank you goes out to Home & School for their incredible effort and dedication in bringing this amazing event to life. Their thoughtful planning, creativity, and hard work made it possible for every child to feel the joy and excitement of Carnival Day. Because of them, the end of the school year was celebrated in the most memorable and meaningful way — with pure happiness, laughter, and a true sense of community. What a fantastic day to remember! 🎉

La Journée Carnaval a été une façon absolument spectaculaire de terminer l’année scolaire, remplie de rires, d’excitation et de souvenirs inoubliables! La gym d’école débordait d’énergie alors que les élèves profitaient d’une foule d’activités, de jeux colorés et de petites douceurs qui illuminaient chaque sourire.

Un immense merci à l’équipe de Home & School pour leur dévouement et leurs efforts extraordinaires dans l’organisation de cet événement incroyable. Grâce à leur créativité, leur planification soignée et leur engagement, chaque enfant a pu vivre une journée remplie de plaisir et de bonheur. Ils ont offert une fin d’année mémorable, empreinte de rires, de complicité et d’un véritable esprit de communauté. Quelle journée fantastique! 🎉

What a wonderful surprise we had today at Arundel Elementary School! 🇨🇦⛷️

Our students were thrilled to welcome back former AES student and Canadian freestyle skier, Naomi Urness, who proudly represented Canada at the Olympics this year. It was such a special opportunity for the children to meet someone who once walked the halls of our school and has gone on to achieve such incredible success.

Thank you, Naomi, for taking the time to visit and inspire our students with your journey, and thank you to Sarah for joining us today. The excitement and smiles on the children’s faces said it all!

A heartfelt thank you to Ms. Amanda, Ms. Brianne, and Mme. Anik for organizing such a magical Grade 6 graduation evening. It was truly a beautiful celebration filled with joy, laughter, and memories our children will cherish for a lifetime. We even had our guest of honour "Rye" he was so handsome in his little tuxedo!

A special thank you to Amanda for her incredible décor — everything looked absolutely stunning and made the night even more unforgettable. We are so grateful to all of you for your time, effort, and care in making this event so meaningful for the students.

Stella story:

It all began with a departure. A full year on the road with family, away from the excessive noise of modern life, in search of a quieter way of being. It was somewhere between two horizons that the idea for this album came to life, carried by the belief that something true was waiting out there.

An album about the stars. Livernoche’s reflection of that voyage, guided by a faith in our own lucky star. Each track bears the name of one of the nine brightest stars visible from Canada.

This is an album made without computers. Everything was conceived by human hands and captured on tape. Every note was recorded live. The entire process is analog from beginning to end, demanding deep preparation from the musicians before a single sound is committed, and asking all involved to embrace a certain beautiful imperfection.

In its own way, this album is a quiet resistance to the artificial intelligence slowly colonizing the music industry. It’s a celebration of musical creation, where human connection comes first.

The cover art is a hand-painted canvas, entirely of human conception, the lettering drawn by hand as well.

This is an album that aspires to carry the listener somewhere unexpected, its melodies led by uncommon harmonies, opening doors to worlds not yet heard.

To create and produce this album entirely on our own terms was about freedom. The freedom to make something completely honest, unbothered by compromise, offered as openly and purely as music can possibly be given.

My deepest hope is that it finds its way to you, and that when it does, it stays.
