We meet Wednesday nights to learn and practice. New dancers are welcome in the classes at any time, although it is best to join when classes start in the fall.

Scottish Country Dancing is the traditional social dancing of Scotland, with many dances still as popular, and still danced, just as they were hundreds of years ago. The Moncton Scottish Country Dance Group was founded by Bill Libby in 1982, and since then has held weekly classes during the fall, winter and spring. The dancers are available for demonstrations as long as plenty of advance notice is given - with so many dances to choose from, we need lots of rehearsal time!
