Today, we honour the life and legacy of Rebecca Schofield, a young woman whose courage, compassion, and kindness continue to inspire our community.

Rebecca’s story reminds us of the importance of choosing kindness, spreading love, and making a difference in the lives of others. Her legacy lives on through the countless acts of kindness inspired by her life and the message she shared with the world.

Today, we encourage our educators, children, and families to celebrate Rebecca’s legacy by being kind, supporting one another, and spreading a little extra love throughout our community. 💜

🎪🎉 WEE THRIVE TURNS TWO! 🎉🎪

What better way to celebrate two amazing years of Wee Thrive than with a Carnival-Themed Family BBQ! ❤️💙💛

We had such a wonderful afternoon filled with carnival fun, games, laughter, delicious food, and lots of smiles as we celebrated this very special milestone with our Wee Thrive families! 🌭🍿🎈

Thank you to everyone for the support and dedication to make this event happen.

Two years ago, we opened our doors in the Caledonia Industrial Park with a dream & what an incredible two years it has been! 💚

Operating a not-for-profit early learning centre has been one of the most rewarding journeys. We have had the privilege of welcoming so many incredible children and families from all around the world and watching our Wee Thrive community grow into something truly special.

We are endlessly grateful for our Early Childhood Educators, whose passion, dedication and love for what they do is visible on their faces every single day. Our kitchen team and administrative team are equally remarkable, and each person plays such an important role in making Wee Thrive what it is.

Perhaps one of the most beautiful parts of Wee Thrive is watching the relationships grow. Children who arrive as little strangers become lifelong friends. Adults who begin as coworkers become friends, and eventually, feel more like family. ❤️

We are touched by every person who walks through our doors and by the stories, cultures, laughter, milestones and memories that have become part of our Wee Thrive journey.

Thank you to our incredible team. Thank you to our families. Thank you to our community. Thank you for believing in us, supporting us and trusting us with the most important little people in your lives.

Wee Thrive is truly THRIVING and this is only the beginning.

Happy 2nd Birthday, Wee Thrive! 🎂🎈
We’re so grateful you’re part of our story.

We also want to extend our sincere thanks to the Government of Canada for its ongoing support of early learning and child care and for recognizing the importance of the work happening in our communities.

We were honoured to welcome MP Karina Gould to Wee Thrive!

During her visit, we had the opportunity to showcase our centre, share the incredible work our educators do every day, and discuss the importance of accessible, high-quality early learning and child care for children and families in our community.

We are grateful for the opportunity to highlight the impact that investments in early childhood education have on children’s development, family well-being, and our local workforce.

Thank you, Karina, for taking the time to learn more about Wee Thrive and for supporting conversations that help strengthen the future of early learning in Canada.
