Today we are celebrating Maryann , one of our incredible Early Childhood Educators at GMSD!

Maryann has been part of the GMSD family for over 10 years, joining us fresh out of college after completing her ECE. In that time, she’s grown into not only a trusted team member, but also a pillar of support and kindness within our center.

As a busy mom of five, Maryann somehow still manages to show up each day with a smile, a positive attitude, and an open heart. She is the definition of dedication—always going above and beyond, never hesitating to step in when needed, and constantly showing her deep love for the children in her care. In fact, her passion for early childhood education runs in the family, as her daughter Amber also joined us as part of the GMSD team too!

We can count on Maryann day or night. She never complains, is always the first to offer help, and brings calm, compassion, and unwavering commitment to everything she does. Her selflessness and strong work ethic do not go unnoticed, and we are beyond grateful to have her.

Today, we’re celebrating Courtney Theriault, a true cornerstone of Greater Moncton School of Discovery!

Courtney is more than just a team member—she’s a leader, mentor, and guiding force in our center. For over a decade, she has been a steady presence, consistently showing up with dedication, compassion, and a hands-on approach that inspires everyone around her.

Whether she’s offering guidance to her team, stepping into classrooms, supporting in the hallways, or ensuring we’re meeting licensing standards, Courtney does it all with excellence and heart. Her deep knowledge of the field, combined with her genuine care for both educators and children, shines through in everything she does.

She is the person others turn to for advice, encouragement, and direction. Her leadership doesn’t just maintain our daily operations—it uplifts them. Courtney’s passion for early childhood education and commitment to quality care positively impacts our entire community.

We are truly grateful to have Courtney as part of our team. Her unwavering dedication and incredible contributions make a difference every single day.

Jessica McKnight is a dedicated and passionate educator who has been an integral part of GMSD since the very beginning!

Her ability to follow the children's lead, and truly engage in their play as often as she can, has made her a beloved figure among the children for years.

Jessica has worked with every age group over the years. Her happy, gentle, approach puts even our tiniest infants at ease, while her creativity and fun energy engages children of all ages.

On top of all of that, Jessica is also an outstanding team player who works seamlessly with everyone in the building. Everyone would agree that her positive attitude, kindness, and generosity make her a joy to work with.

Thank you, Jessica, for your tireless commitment to providing exceptional care, love and education to all of our children! You truly are an asset to our GMSD family! 💕
