The Moncton Italian Association is proudly marching in the Parade of Nations, and we want our red, white, and green shining bright. Bring your bandiere, your bambini, and your Italian Pride — let’s fill the streets with true Italian spirit.

When we arrive at Riverfront Park, the festa continues at the MOSAÏQ Cultural Village & Family Zone, part of SparkFest with BGC Moncton. From 12–8 PM, visit our booth for cultural displays, kids’ activities, and that warm Italian welcome that always feels like famiglia.

On March 14, 1891, a vigilante mob in the city of New Orleans shot and lynched 11 innocent Italian Americans for their alleged role in the murder of city police chief David Hennessy after some of them had been acquitted at trial.

It was one of the largest single mass lynchings in American history. On the anniversary of this darkest chapter in Italian American history, let us remember those who lost their lives that day.
