This is a message is being sent on behalf of the students in the Harrison Trimble High School IB Program.

We’re excited to invite Maplehurst students to participate in a Middle School Soccer Charity Tournament!

📅 Date: Saturday, April 25th

🕘 Time: 9:30 AM – 5:30 PM

📍 Location: Maplehurst School Gym (please use rear door)

You can sign up with a team of 4–5 players, or sign up individually and be placed on a team.

This event is open to all students, regardless of age, gender, or skill level, and is a great opportunity to have fun, compete, and support our partner charity, Codiac Soccer.

Cost: $2 per player ($3 per spectator)

On April 10 and 11th the school is hosting (or in the works of hosting) a boys basketball tournament. The home and school is looking at supplying a canteen for those 2 days (not sure on times yet) is anyone available to run the canteen Friday or Saturday? I can likely come in Saturday afternoon to close up. It'll be the busiest day. Please reach out to me Angela Clarke

🎉Congrats to Elliott for winning homecoming's 50/50.🎉. He won $44. Thank you everyone who bought tickets! The h&s will put the money to good use towards gym equipment. ☺️

Here at Maplehurst middle school, the H&S offer help towards student events, we also plan staff appreciation week and fill a need where we can, like purchasing classroom equipment.

In the past we've invited Travel to You Zoo to attend Homecoming, we’ve treated the staff, bus drivers and crossing guards to a week-long celebration to show our appreciation of them and we hosted a canteen for the Boys’ Basketball Tournament.

This year we plan to keep that up and add extra events to our calendar, but we need your help.

If you join the H&S, you will be invited to volunteer to help at events, give your input and feedback or other ideas and help decide where the funds go from our fundraising efforts.

We'll be hosting our first open meeting (any parent or guardian can attend) at the school on Tuesday September 16th at 7pm. *Please no students in attendance.

This meeting will explain our role and how you can help, the information about this year's executive (we are currently looking for a Treasurer), the membership fee of $8 and how it is spent. We will also look at upcoming events already in the works!

Angela here! I have decided to stay on as the home and school president for 1 more year, but as always we will have a vote if there is anyone else interested in the position. I'm meeting with principal Oulette tomorrow to discuss some upcoming plans and events. Stay tuned for the date of our first meeting for the 25/26 school year!! Hope to see new and familiar faces there!! 😘

Still looking for help this Saturday for the canteen at the basketball tournament. As it is right now I'll be by myself from 9am until 8pm. Someone's gotta have an hour for 2 they can spare?? I don't bite 🤣

Hey everyone!! There's a boys basketball tournament this weekend at maplehurst. The admin team asked us to provide a canteen and host a 50/50. We need a couple volunteers to help out. We need a person or 2 on Friday between 3pm- and 8pm. And Saturday 8:30am - 8pm approx. Please message me directly for info if you'd like to sign up. You don't have to be there the whole time, would like to have volunteers stick around for an hour or 2 or 3 whatever you can give.. need to be friendly and can use a cash box to make change 💰💵💰. We're going to sell pizza by the slice on Saturday at noon until it's gone. And the rest of the time we'll have snacks and drinks and coffee, tea and hot chocolate. Message Angela Clarke to volunteer!
