🤍 A special ask for those working in roles where you regularly carry the weight of other people’s hardest moments.🤲🏼
I’m currently working on developing a community-based wellness and support program for people working in fields where there can be repeated exposure to trauma, crisis, suffering, grief, and emotionally demanding situations.
This includes people such as:
🚑 Paramedics & EMTs
🚒 Firefighters & emergency responders
📞 911 & emergency dispatchers
🏥 Healthcare & emergency department workers
🤝 PSWs, caregivers & support workers
🧠 Mental health & social service professionals
🌍 Humanitarian aid workers & volunteers
🆘 Search & rescue & disaster-response workers
👥 And others working in high-stress, trauma-exposed environments
But I don’t want to assume what support should look like.
I want to listen to the people who live it.
What challenges are often overlooked?
What kind of support would actually be useful?
What do you wish you had access to before, during, or after difficult experiences?
I’ve created a brief survey to help me better understand these realities and learn what tools and resources could genuinely make a meaningful difference.

If you work in one of these fields, your voice matters. 🤍
And if you know someone who does, I would be incredibly grateful if you shared this with them.
My hope is to create something not simply for those working in trauma-exposed environments, but with them — shaped by their voices, experiences, and realities.🤲🏼
Thank you for helping me listen before I build. 🤍
