Mrs. Schlamp and kîsikâw canned some pickled carrots today for students so they can enjoy locally sourced and naturally preserved food. We still think of our students in the summer months 🫶 thank you Amisk Farm for providing the carrots for us to be able to do this for our students.

Today in Social Studies, we learned about our local government structure. We talked about our family system, identified which family groupings we could belong to, held a mock election and council session where they voted on what we would have for our year-end celebration meal. Platforms centred around kindness and sharing to make our school a better place. Throughout the process, we had only two spoiled ballots lol. Muskoti maskwak ROCK!
