Hi Everyone!
I want to wish everyone a safe return to school!
I'm excited for those of you who will be learning a new instrument this semester.
Some of you will be learning the instrument at home, on your own.

For string players, concentrate on your posture and how you are holding the instrument. Strive for a good quality sound from day 1.

For wind/brass players, concentrate on your posture, how you are holding the instrument and most importantly, your breathing. Strive for a good quality sound on every note.

All beginners should take their time and be patient. A couple of lessons is all you need to get you started. You want to avoid learning any bad habits, because they will be hard to correct later.

Good luck to all of you! Being able to play an instrument, sing, read or write music, are all special talents.

Happy Valentine's Day and Happy Family Day!
