Today at CE Academy, our students came together to recognize Orange Shirt Day through meaningful, hands-on activities, learning, reflection, and creative expression.

From art and storytelling to classroom discussions and sensory activities, our students explored the importance of remembering the children who never returned home, and moving forward with kindness in our hearts.

Yesterday, we had a very special delivery from children’s author Laura Wheaton!
Laura kindly stopped by our school and dropped off some of her wonderful books for our students to enjoy. Our kids were so excited to explore the books and spend some time reading and enjoying new stories! 💛📖

Reliable transportation will help ensure that more children can attend CE Academy, while easing the daily logistical challenges many families face getting their children to and from school.

What an incredible day at the CE Academy Charity Golf Classic! ⛳️💙

We are beyond grateful to everyone who came out to support our event — from our amazing sponsors to all of the golfers who helped make the day such a success. Your generosity, enthusiasm, and community spirit truly made this event unforgettable.

This tournament officially kick-started our Ride to School Campaign, and we’re so excited for the many events and opportunities to come throughout the year as we continue working toward our goal.

Together, we raised an amazing $28,000 — and we’re just getting started! 🚍✨

Over the months, our Communication Circle Program has been filled with meaningful moments of learning, growth, and connection ✨

Through engaging and hands-on experiences, the children have been building important skills in colour sorting, shape recognition, name identification, and spelling their names — all while strengthening their communication, confidence, and independence 💛

We are so proud of every small step, every accomplishment, and every smile along the way. Watching each child grow in their own unique way has been truly special
