February 14th, 2026
Often I run out of time — and most times I can’t even find my phone — to capture classroom moments. If I did it regularly, I would have albums filled with laughter, smiles, and the most beautiful snapshots of learning that happens, literally every day from my littles to all the way to my grade 12s.
Today was yet another special teaching moment with my Grade 4/5 group.
After learning the full metric system, we began exploring feet and inches. We measured using the rulers they’re familiar with, and there were so many bursts of laughter — but through it all, the concepts truly became solid.
This group made the day extra special, though.
In the five short minutes I stepped upstairs to grab their Valentine’s goodie bags, they did something so incredibly sweet for me.
Such a small window of time — yet such a big gesture.
It warmed my heart and reminded me of so many of my graduated gems who equally poured love and appreciation.
And it made me realize I really do need to keep my phone on some kind of permanent “record” mode.
Because these little gems don’t know it yet… but eight to nine years from now, when they graduate, these pictures will mean everything.

Dear Parents on the Waitlist,
I understand that it can be frustrating when spaces do not open in the middle of the academic year. Our classes operate at full capacity, and openings typically become available only when our current Grade 12 students graduate.
I am also aware that we have not opened a Grade 1/2 class in nearly five years, primarily due to prioritizing space for our high school students. However, over the past few years, I have noticed a growing number of students entering our upper grades with significant learning gaps. This has been both concerning and eye-opening.
With this in mind, I have decided to open a new Grade 1/2 class beginning in April 2026.
If you previously submitted a registration form, your child may already be on our waitlist. If you are unsure if your child is on the waitlist, I encourage you to re-register online before the last week of February. Emails regarding the Grade 1/2 class will only be sent during the final week of February to families on our Grade 1/2 waitlist.
Following the email communication, we will organize pre-assessments for potential placement and appropriate class grouping. There will only be on group of Math and English classes opening. Hence, as you know, space is very limited.
PS: To parents who already sent an email and re-registered this week (after seeing our academy's instagram post), please note all emails will be responded to and sent during the last week of February.
Warm regards,
Suji

December 21st 2025. Celebrating the beginning of 22 years with my graduates.
These consists of my University students or students now in the professional field.
To every graduate who came out for bowling, dinner, or both—thank you from the bottom of my heart. To those who messaged saying they were unable to make it in December (and want me to organize another one in January, thank you for going out of your way to message me. Love you. )
Seeing you all again, laughing, talking, and simply being you reminded me why teaching has always been so deeply meaningful to me. That time together was incredibly special, and I will carry it with me for a long time. As your teacher, my heart was so full—so full that it brought tears to my eyes more than once; but we have to laugh it away.
Nothing has changed. You are still my kids, and you are still as absolutely amazing as ever—kind, resilient, thoughtful, funny, and full of so much potential.
Watching the people you are becoming fills me with pride beyond words. You made me emotional, you made me smile, and you reminded me how powerful the bonds we build at SAEC truly are. I love you all so much.
This is simply the beginning of a new chapter and a new tradition.
As members of our SAEC Alumni Grads Association, your journey continues, and 2026, we have a lot planned. At SAEC your role will continue and sprout as honorary speakers, mentors, and role models for the students who are now walking the paths you once did. Your stories, your growth, and your experiences will inspire the next generation of SAEC kids in ways only you can.
Thank you for showing up, for staying connected, and for reminding me that once you are part of this family, you always are. I am so proud of each and every one of you, and I cannot wait to see all the incredible places life takes you—knowing you’ll always have a home here.
I should have done this long time ago.
Thank you for organizing it all Rusanth.
GRATEFUL.
Merry Christmas.

Yes, I know… our page has been a little quiet compared to our Instagram lately. Our classroom is always brimming with energy and buzz, and I rarely have my phone in hand to catch all the special moments. But here’s a sweet one I did manage to capture: us celebrating one of our little gems on their special birthday (10th).

Happy Thanksgiving to all my wonderful students and families, from Grade 1 to Grade 12.
As we pause to give thanks, I am deeply grateful for each of you my dears. Your curiosity, your hard work, and the light you bring into our classroom and Academy is truly mesmerizing. Teaching you is a true blessing and a daily reminder of how much joy and purpose comes from learning together.
“Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; His love endures forever.” — Psalm 107:1
“He who is content with whatever comes his way, who is free from envy and greed, and remains steady in success and failure, such a person truly lives in peace.” — Bhagavad Gita
So to all my gems, from my family to yours, I wish you and your families a peaceful, joy-filled Thanksgiving.
May your hearts be full of gratitude and your homes filled with love.
