The next time stress lands, try this.
One. Don't fix it in the moment. Your brain's offline. Let the wave pass.
Two. Move. Walk, stretch, hit a bag — anything that breaks the loop.
Three. Name it. "I'm overwhelmed right now." Don't argue with it.
The fix happens after the storm, not during.
We train this every adult class at Dapo Martial Arts.
Challenging? Absolutely. Fun? Even more so.
This group push-up challenge had our students working together with one hand on the ground and one hand supporting another student. It took strength, balance, focus, and teamwork to stay connected and move as one.
The best training pushes us outside our comfort zone while reminding us to enjoy the process. Hard work, teamwork, and plenty of smiles along the way.
