Our mission is to encourage a love for language learning and to help enhance students experiences at UTM. In 2011 a few students came together to start an academic society on behalf of the Language Studies Department at the University of Toronto Mississauga. LSAS' goal is to enrich language learning at UTM by providing students with an academic and social environment to foster stronger connections between the different programs of the Language Studies Department. This society is for anyone interested in languages, culture, linguistics, or anyone who simply wants to learn! WE ENCOURAGE EVERYONE TO TAKE PART IN OUR EVENTS! Being a language studies student is NOT required! We offer a friendly, accepting environment where people of ALL language level skills can interact with one another and learn in a fun way. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any questions you may have! (Remember, there is no such thing as a silly question!) We are here to help you! Send us an email at [email protected]
or tweet us at
or leave us a question here on Facebook! Have a lovely day!
