Canadian Academy for Diversity Leadership (CADL)

Canadian Academy for Diversity Leadership (CADL) Diversity and Equity Leadership CADL™ also aims to make diversity leadership visible through talented practitioners and role models.

Canadian Academy for Diversity Leadership (CADL™) is a flagship program launched in 2010 where leaders learn and share knowledge about diversity leadership in the workplace, organizations and communities. We recognize that corporate responsibility encourages diversity leadership through inclusion because of our increasingly diverse workplace of immigrants, women, differently abled people, people of color and people with different sexual orientations. We at CADL™ encourage exploring diversity leadership talent through discussions, research, published articles, videos, courses, workshops, etc.

Letter to Donald Trump from Kamala Harris's protègè
I give credit to Maya Angelou's poem, Still I Rise, adapting it to this historical time.

Trump, you may write me down in history with your better, twisted lies,
Trump, you may trod me in the very dirt, you lie
Trump, but still, like dust, I'll rise.

Trump, you may shoot me with your words,
Trump, you may cut me with your eyes,
Trump, you may kill me with your hatefullness,
Trump, but still, like air, I'll rise.

Trump, I know your type, because I took on predators
Trump, I am the real prosecutor
Trump, game on
Trump, I'm a Black woman leaping up high in the sky
Trump, I rise, I rise, I rise.

Black leaders are those who love Black people enough to tell them the truth, respect them enough to believe that they can wrestle with the truth, and are willing to sacrifice enough to pay some serious costs. (Cornell West)
