During our a Friday night Sacred Grounds program, a weekly space for young adults to connect and find community, we’ll be exploring the reality of intentions and its’ role in finding God and even ourselves.

🤲The relationship that exists between God and His creation is very intimate and delicate. The complexities that exist within our thoughts, pursuits and every day actions are often under a magnifying glass by many, but the only one who really understands the reality of it all is God himself. As is often said, "only God can judge me"...

And although in some regard true, the idea is quite dangerous (❗️) because of its' deceptive qualities, leading many towards neglect and carelessness in their duties to God.

This is where INTENTIONS come in...

Intentions is that glue that starts to make sense of all these intricate and complex issues that we struggle with on a day to day basis. When understood correctly, it starts to make whole our relationship with God in the purest way, because we understand the freedom AND limits it entails.

Join us Friday nights after ‘isha at MNN In Mississauga, for a deep dive into understanding our intentions, connecting with others, and enjoying a community dedicated to young Muslims.

We'll be running this masterclass throughout the month of Ramadan. Short, bite-sized discussions every weekday evening online over Zoom starting Monday, April 27th.

Learning and teaching are two sides of the same coin.

Sometime we feel shy to teach others because we feel we're not qualified. And that point has some merit. However, also keep in mind that the Prophet sallalahu alayhi waslaam told us: "Convey from me, even if it is one verse.”

So how do you join between the two?

1) By conveying and teaching only what you know
2) Saying "I don't know" frequently, without shame
3) Staying humble and reminding yourself of your status
4) Intending to teach to better understand and learn yourself

"Sometimes it takes an overwhelming breakdown to have an undeniable breakthrough"

Pain, struggle, and tests, in general, are all happening for a reason. Every ounce of it. Rest assured of this fact.

Therefore, take time to reflect on it. Because at the end of it is extraordinary growth.

Success is only what you make it. Don't let the opinion of others fool you.
