STUDENT SPOTLIGHT: Here is Adelaide R. Baker
Throughout Adelaide’s undergraduate degree at Wilfrid Laurier University, she successfully managed a full-time school schedule and worked part-time as a brand manager and research assistant. These positions allowed Adelaide to discover her overlapping interests in both science and business.
She has strong leadership skills and is known for her hard work and flexible, open approach to working with others. After graduation, Adelaide hopes to use these skills beyond the MMI program to find meaningful work in the healthcare sector

MMI STUDENT SPOTLIGHT: learn more about Huikang Ye
Huikang has extensive research experience and completed his Masters thesis in cancer biology at the University of Southern California. He is a highly organized team player with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Huikang hopes to apply his knowledge of biology and his interests in business in his future career and is interested in working as a consultant post MMI. During his free time, Huikang enjoys swimming and travelling.

MMI STUDENT SPOTLIGHT: Here is Farhana Cheema
Farhana excelled in her undergraduate studies while working full-time and pursuing volunteer opportunities. She has a strong work ethic and extensive experience in client-facing roles. Farhana is known among her peers for her strong interpersonal skills and ability to solve problems easily and creatively. In her free time, Farhana enjoys travelling and setting new personal records in her strength training.
Post-MMI, Farhana hopes to leverage her scientific background with her business acumen in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical sectors where she can contribute to developing new therapeutics.
