Little builders at work 🔨✨

Through hands-on exploration with tools and materials, children strengthened their fine motor skills, coordination, and concentration while discovering cause and effect through play. In a Reggio Emilia-inspired environment, open-ended experiences like these empower children to explore, create, and learn through meaningful interaction with their surroundings. 🌱

Looking back on our Mother’s Day celebrations 💐🤍

With little hands and big hearts, our students created beautiful paper mâché flower bouquets as a special way to celebrate the love and care of the important women in their lives. Growing with the letter G ✏️

Through tracing and repetition, children are exploring the phonetic sound of “G” while strengthening their fine motor skills and letter recognition. Hands-on experiences like this help build early literacy in a meaningful and engaging way.

In a Reggio-inspired environment, learning unfolds through exploration, allowing children to connect sounds, symbols, and movement as they develop confidence in their emerging language skills. 📚✨

Blooming with curiosity! 🌸

Our little learner is exploring colors, shapes, and textures through play with these bright plastic flowers. At Westpark, every activity is a chance to learn, discover, and grow—one tiny hand at a time! 💛

Art is more than just a creative activity—it is one of the many ways children express their ideas, emotions, and understanding of the world around them. 🎨✨

In the Reggio Emilia approach, children are encouraged to communicate through the “hundred languages” of childhood, with art serving as a powerful tool for exploration, discovery, and self-expression. Through painting, drawing, sculpting, and creating, children develop problem-solving skills, confidence, creativity, and a deeper connection to their learning.

Every brushstroke, colour choice, and creation tells a story, reminding us that the process of creating is just as meaningful as the finished piece. 🌿💛
