👟 Terry Fox Walk 2026 👟

Today we participated in our annual Terry Fox Run. We walked around our building 6 times to honour the 6 Provinces Terry covered during his marathon.

Our little runners took every step with big hearts as we learned about Terry Fox, his incredible courage, and his dream of finding a cure for cancer.

Today, we carry his message forward- hope, courage, kindness and never giving up.

📚✨ Reading Challenge! ✨📚

Our children enjoyed reading books with their teachers and friends. They also brought their favourite books from home to share and enjoy with their friends. They tracked their reading through a fun colouring activity📚

Through this experience, the children were developing so many important skills, including:

📖 Language & vocabulary – learning new words and expressing ideas
💭 Imagination & creativity – exploring new ideas and different worlds
💬 Communication skills – talking about books and sharing their thoughts
🤝 Social skills – sharing favourite books and enjoying stories together
🎯 Focus & attention – practising listening and staying engaged with a story
Most importantly, the children learned that reading can be fun, exciting, and something to look forward to! 💕📚✨
