Prophet Muhammad SAW said, "The best of people are those that bring most benefit to the rest of mankind."
Last week our Grade 11 & 12 students visited Wellbrook Senior Retirement Home, where they prepared lunch and spent time with them.
This was a tarbiyyah moment for them as they reflected on their role as Khalifah on this earth, instilling in them compassion, responsibility and care for others.

رَبِّ اشْرَحْ لِي صَدْرِي وَيَسِّرْ لِي أَمْرِي وَاحْلُلْ عُقْدَةً مِنْ لِسَانِي يَفْقَهُوا قَوْلِي
"My Lord, expand for me my breast [with assurance] and ease for me my task and untie the knot from my tongue that they may understand my speech." (Quran, 20:25-28)

The Prophet SAW said, "The best among you are those who learn the Qur'an and teach it." (Sahih Bukhari)
This year at the MAC Convention, the young huffaz of the community participated in the MAC Quran Quest Competition, fostering the love and passion for learning the Quran in our youth.
We are grateful to all schools that participated, with a special shout out to ISNA Elementary School MAC Maple Grove School and Alhuda Elementary School for coming together in healthy competition, facilitating perfection in tafseer, mutashabihat and memorization of the Quran in our students.
May Allah SWT allow us to raise young leaders, grounded in the teachings of the Quran and ready to carry the light forward Insha’Allah. Ameen

Our students shone on stage at the MAC Convention with inspiring performances, bringing history back to life as a reminder of the great legacy which we are a part of.
Taking lessons from the lives of leaders like Omar RA and Salahuddin Al-Ayyubi as well as reviving the words of reformists from the Muslim world, calling out to the youth, our students moved hearts with their performances.
May these efforts serve as a reminder to all of our responsibilities towards our Ummah and inspire youth to be the future leaders in the community.

مَنْ لا يَشْكُرِ النَّاسَ لا يَشْكُرِ اللَّهَ
"Whoever does not thank people has not thanked Allah.” (Tirmidhi)
As part of this year’s Tarbiyyah challenge, our grade 5 students visited several institutions such as hospitals, wellness centres, police and fire stations, to show gratitude towards their services to the communities. This was also an opportunity for our students to reflect on Khilafah as one of our core Islamic values.
We are truly grateful to Partners Community Health Trillium Health Partners Creditvalley Hospital Peel Regional Police Mississauga Fire Department for welcoming our students and facilitating this unique experience for them.
