Responsibilities: Start and end lessons on time, maintaining a good attendance record, teach half-hour one-to-one lessons to students. Also liaising with staff and parents, ensuring knowledge of current examination requirements, determining student goals and objectives, and following our policies and procedures, regarding student safety.
Job Duties: Guiding your students towards correct technique and teaching students how to read musical notation, as well as prepping students for a music recital performance, guidance through progressively graded music method books with the goal of graded RCM examinations, teaching lessons in relation to individual pupils' needs, and motivating students, especially when they are struggling and progress is slow.
Requirements – Specific Skills Needed:
-Ability to read music notation
-Good communication skills
-You Must Possess Minimum Grade 6 RCM Certificate (Or Equivalent)
-Ability to connect with a wide range of students of different ages and backgrounds
-High standards of professionalism and professional ethics

• No waiting in our lobby or stairs. Seating in the lobby has been removed. Students must arrive on time and not before, and must leave immediately after the lesson. If student is very young, one parent may es**rt the child to class but are to wait outside of the studio, then at the proper time, one parent can es**rt the child from the lesson
