About Us
We at Innova Stem believe that unleashing children's creativity is what will make learning fun and exciting again. (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math), we understand and acknowledge the importance of developing and nurturing skill sets in these four categories. Innova Stem was created as a solution to a problem. That problem is that some children nowadays are increasingly losing their creativity but also interest in STEM-based learning. This is where we come in. We have designed enhancement programs and workshops that work alongside the existing Ontario curriculum. These programs incorporate the use of circuit building, 3-D printers, and virtual reality tools all the while fostering and nurturing creativity, self-esteem, team-work, and problem-solving. Using and familiarizing children with these new technologies will better prepare them for the future. We want boys and girls alike to know that a career in STEM can just as fun as any other! Our diverse and skilled team is comprised of members that are engineers in electronics and mechanics. We also have computer science specialists, architectural designers and we even have a child and youth care, practitioner. Working collaboratively ensures that we are developing the best and most current programs. We have a very hands-on approach to teaching and believe that this generates the best results.
