You are invited to gather quietly in the Rotary Peace Corner to embrace inner and world peace and to enjoy the natural environment.

Founded in 1905, Rotary conducts global forums, hosts international peace symposiums and advances peace through its 77-year collaboration with the United Nations all in the unwavering pursuit to achieve the goal of worldwide peace and tolerance.

A Peace Pole is an internationally recognized symbol of the hopes and dreams of the entire human family, standing vigil in silent prayer for peace on earth. The Peace Pole is a handcrafted monument that displays the message "May Peace Prevail on Earth" in Anishinaabemowin, English and French.

The Peace Pole is a joint project between the Rotary Clubs of Mississauga, Mississauga West, Mississauga Meadowvale, Mississauga City Centre, Mississauga Rotaract and the City of Mississauga.
