Mentor College provides a strong academic program for its students. A caring environment that is rich in personal attention has been established, and this positive atmosphere both allows and encourages students to think and reason for themselves. Daily communication between the teacher and parents takes place through the use of homework books; there is also a weekly e-mail update of general school news, and parents are contacted by the homeroom teacher on a monthly basis. Located in Port Credit, Mississauga, the intermediate (Grades 5 to 8) and high school (Grades 9 to 12) levels are housed on the main campus. An adjacent primary campus is home to the Junior Kindergarten to Grade 4 students. Co-curricular trips to the school’s Outdoor Education Centre in Muskoka enhance in-class learning in the upper grades. Extracurricular activities abound, including learning opportunities in sports, music, drama and special-interest clubs. Located in the Dundas-Hurontario area of Mississauga, TEAM School provides an academic program for both elementary and secondary students. Students aged six to 14 benefit from small class sizes (eight students) and an individualized academic program to provide an educational upgrading. As their skills improve, TEAM students realize that they really do have the ability to do well in school. The potential that parents had always seen in their children surfaces, and they are ready for the next step in the learning process. Classroom learning is enhanced by more than 35 school clubs and sports teams, as well as by the school-wide musical. Students aged 10 and up enjoy a week at the school’s Outdoor Education Centre in Muskoka. TEAM Secondary School (TSS) was founded in 2007 and offers a full curriculum for students at the applied (college-bound) level with a maximum class size of 12 students. There are few schools of its kind in the GTA, and none with the benefit of the more than 75 extracurricular activities that TSS students enjoy through their sister school, Mentor College.

Congratulations to our students for their outstanding performance at The Boardroom, a national business case competition hosted by Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto! This year’s challenge focused on implementing AI into the translation and localization industry, which featured an incredible 700+ participants and 150+ teams across Canada. 🎉👏

Out of the entire country, two Mentor College teams reached the Top 15 and were invited to round 2:

4 Musketeers: Lukas Chang, Rajan Deol, Nicholas Genyk, & Ethan Ping.
GAR Team: Gianluca Bleta, Ritmay Luthra, & Arrian Wu.

Among all participants in terms of overall performance, Nicholas Genyk, Ethan Ping, Rajan Deol, and Lukas Chang (the 4 Musketeers) made it to the final round and repeated their performance from last year by, once again, placing top 3 overall with their proposed solution dubbed ""Avignon AI"". 🏆

Additionally, Ethan Ping was named Best Speaker of the entire competition! 🎙🏅

For industry recognition, Gregory Rebejko (Director, Media Canada at TransPerfect Media) directly commended the team for presenting one of the most feasible and strongest solutions in the competition.

Sanaa is currently on her journey studying Medicine, and she credits her time at Mentor College for giving her a serious head start. We are incredibly proud of the outstanding achievements of our Advanced Placement (AP) students this year. Their dedication, curiosity, and commitment to academic excellence have resulted in another remarkable year of success! 🎉📚

This year, 95% of our AP students earned a score of 3 or higher, marking a five-year high for Mentor College. Our students’ results continue to place them well above provincial and global averages, reflecting not only their hard work, but also the incredible support and guidance provided by our dedicated AP teachers.

Our AP faculty challenge students to think deeply, explore beyond the curriculum, and develop the skills and confidence needed for success at the university level and beyond. 📝📈

A graduate from the Class of 2026, Rian Pullen (pictured in blue), is a member of the Team Ontario U19 Rugby Squad! 💙🏉

Last weekend in Guelph, she helped her team capture a gold medal at the Canadian Championships and she scored three tries throughout the tournament! 🥇

In May, Rian was named High School Senior Athlete of the Year for the second consecutive year and was inducted into the Marauder Athletics Wall of Fame! ✨
