We are a mother-daughter teaching team dedicated to providing quality music education. We offer Music for Young Children, Royal Conservatory of Music, and music theory classes. Our music studio features:

2 Keyboards
Minimum 3 students and maximum 6 students in the class

Did you know that the Fedorowich Music Studio is a female fronted business with 80+ years’ experience between us?

Mrs. F was raised in small town Saskatchewan by parents who instilled a love of music education in all seven of their children. Three of her seven siblings went on to pursue professional music careers because of this early love of music instilled from a young age. This was a priority for her when raising her own family of four Music for Young Children - MYC graduates, one of which became her future business partner and Co-Founder of the Fedorowich Music Studio.

Michelle was one of Gwen’s first Sunshine 1 Music for Young Children students at the age of 3, back in Peterborough, Ontario. When Gwen relocated to Mississauga, Ontario, her phone started ringing off the hook in the larger city centre. Her business solution at the time was to start grooming Michelle to take on music students that she was unable to accommodate. Little did either of them know that this decision shaped the future direction of Michelle’s career as a budding young entrepreneur.

To date, our studio has evolved into a strong music community, where we have collectively graduated 2500+ MYC graduates, and supported numerous students in successful Royal Conservatory of Music (RCM) examinations.
We successfully pivoted during the COVID-19 pandemic to offer online, hybrid, and in person lessons through technology and studio upgrades. We are committed to continuing to offer high quality music education to our music families.

🐾Every music journey starts with a first step

👶This is one of Miss Michelle’s first ever Sunshine 1 students of the Music for Young Children - MYC program with her since the age of 3. His journey started by rolling around on the music studio floor, creating a distraction to fellow classmates.

🎹This student embraced every stage of his music journey of the past 14 years (and counting!!), with courage and perseverance. This journey resulted in him pursuing his Level 10 Royal Conservatory of Music piano credentials, the same level of music that Miss Michelle has!

🎤Eric took the stage at our most recent music recitals. He spoke to the ups and downs of the journey, sharing inspiring words to the next generation of students, along with his Mom Yuhong, proud music Mom and long time supporter of our music studio.

🔦One highlight of this journey was learning to play “Skyfall” by Adele for his Level 8 popular piano exam selection, from the James Bond movie franchise (turn up the volume!)

🦕We already miss your smiling face here at the studio for the first time in 14 years. We will always have our MYC critters to thank as the magic that brought us together in the first place!
