Event Description: How do we really see one another in meaningful discourse? Join Vice President and Principal Alexandra Gillespie and Professor Randy Boyagoda with retired Judge Marion Buller, member of Mistawasis First Nation, Chief Commissioner of the national MMIWG commission, and Chancellor of the University of Victoria for a special lecture and discussion on fostering understanding in open inquiry.

Professor Robert Gerlai in the Department of Psychology has been elected as a Fellow of the Royal Society of Canada (RSC)! Founded in 1882, the RSC recognizes excellence, advises the government and the larger society, and promotes a culture of knowledge and innovation in Canada and with other national academies around the world. Professor Gerlai was recognized for his pioneering work on behavioural genetics and his role in championing zebrafish as a model organism in the behavioural neurosciences.
