A legendary visit at Forest Avenue Public School!
Students had an exciting opportunity to welcome the iconic Grey Cup to their school on May 13, 2026. From learning about its rich history to seeing the trophy up close, the visit brought Canadian football to life in a meaningful and memorable way.
Students enjoyed taking photos, exploring the significance of the Grey Cup, and celebrating the values of sport, teamwork, and national pride together.

Today, on June 3, we recognize Red Shirt Day, a national day of action for accessibility and inclusion.
Led by Easter Seals Canada’s Red Shirt Day movement, this day encourages people across Canada to wear red, show support, and take action to remove barriers for individuals living with disabilities.
In Ontario alone, over 2.6 million people live with a disability. This reminds us of the importance of accessibility and inclusion. It is also an opportunity to recognize and celebrate the contributions, leadership, and achievements of individuals in our schools, workplaces, and communities.
