We are confident that you will discover how our academy will provide a learning environment conducive to your child's emotional, social, academic growth and well being. Westbrook Montessori Academy offers an authentic Montessori curriculum and is a CCMA Accredited School. We are located in a quiet residential neighborhood, directly across from a scenic park. Spacious classrooms, large skylight windows, and a unique building design combine to provide a bright, and inspiring learning environment. We are proud to offer a low student-teacher ratio from our highly qualified teachers who are graduates from certified Montessori educational institutions. At W.M.A, we offer a large variety of authentic Montessori materials and we are proud to directly apply the methods and philosophy of Maria Montessori. It is our belief that parents play an essential part in the life of the child. We offer ongoing communication between the school and parents, such as, a monthly newsletter. In addition, there will be two official report cards (Casa), accompanied by parent-teacher interviews over the school year. Please feel free to call us anytime if you have specific questions, and we will be very happy to assist you. The staff at Westbrook Montessori Academy look forward to working with you and your child(ren) with great anticipation. In accordance with our school philosophy, we "seek to achieve" a learning environment conducive to fostering love and respect for one another as well as the world around us.
