🧡 Every Child Matters 🧡
Today at Hakuna Matata Child Care Centre, we wear orange to honour the children who were taken from their families and communities, to remember those who never made it home, and to recognize the lasting impact of residential schools.
As educators, we have a responsibility to create a place where every child feels safe, valued, respected, heard and loved. 🌻
Today, we remind our children that their voices matter, their stories matter, and most importantly — they matter. 🧡
Let’s continue to teach kindness, empathy, inclusion and respect, helping to build a future where every child has the opportunity to grow, learn and belong.
🧡 Every Child Matters. Every Voice Matters. Every Story Matters.
